How far in advance should I book?
Do remember that Fridays and Saturdays are the most popular wedding days throughout the year, so it’s advisable to enquire early. Additionally, for the peak seasons (May through to October) we receive many bookings more than 12 months in advance. As we cannot hold a date without a booking confirmation, we recommend that you enquire as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Proofing and Album Design
Your wedding proof collection will consist of 350+ images, supplied in an online gallery.
We appreciate that your time is valuable, so we predesign your album layout as we feel best tells the story of your day. Then with your feedback, we will finalise the design and send the book/album to print upon your sign-off.
Your collection of proof images will be available within 6-8 weeks of your wedding date, followed by your preliminary album design.
Once you have signed off on your final album design, production is approximately 6 weeks from our supplier.
We use professional series digital SLR camera bodies and lenses, including backup equipment.
How many images do you take?
Rather than limiting ourselves to a number of images, we capture your day as it unfolds. Your proof collection will include 350+ images.
Do you retouch your images?
All images, whether captured on digital or film, must be processed for colour correction and contrast or they would be flat and lifeless. Additionally we give extra attention to our images to add our own custom enhancements to represent our artistic style.
Colour or Black and White
We capture all images in colour and during the editing we decide which images are best suited to colour or black and white.
Wedding Jargon: Sides, Leaves, Spreads, Pages..?!?!?
When enquiring with potential wedding photographers, be sure to get clarification on the inclusions in any albums or books, as the language can be unintentionally misleading.
KOH WEDDINGS use the terms LEAVES and SIDES in describing our collections. Consider that you turn each leaf in a book, and that each leaf has a front side and reverse side. Therefore, for example, a 30 side album consists of 15 leaves.
Do you travel?
Yes, we regularly travel across Ireland and Europe for photographic work. We aim to keep all costs associated with travel and accommodation as reasonable as possible.
Whether you’re enquiring from outside of Ireland or are an Irish couple wishing us to travel to your destination wedding, please contact us to discuss your needs.
We live outside of Ireland.. Can we chat?
Yes, we can chat via phone, email or Skype. We can provide you with an info pack with samples of our work and products.
